Provides grants for Danish companies and knowledge institutions' preparatory work to participate in selected European research programs - International Network Program
Part of the internationalization of Danish research, including follow-up on the Ministry's bilateral agreements on research, technology and education cooperation with so-called 3rd countries - Research Funding
To promote Danish and Greenlandic Arctic research within all main scientific fields and is awarded annually by the Greenland Research Council following a call for applications. Applications can be submitted for PhD and postdoc scholarships. - Udlodningsmidler/Distribution funds (only in danish)
Following a new agreement on the distribution of distribution funds, it is no longer possible to apply for distribution funds from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
Ministry of Environment
- Environmental support for the Arctic (only in danish)
Awards funding to projects in four main areas: environment and health, climate change impacts, biodiversity and sustainable use of living resources, and local environmental conditions.
- Lighthouse Projects (only in danish)
Grants for demonstration of full-scale environmental technology solutions in the areas of water and climate adaptation, prevention and recycling of resources, cleaner air, less noise, less problematic chemicals, and industrial environmental efforts.
Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries
- Green Development and Demonstration Program (GUDP) (only in danish)
Aims to create better coherence between research, development and demonstration of knowledge in the areas of food, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture.
Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities
- Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP) (only in danish)
Development and demonstration of energy technology with a special focus on security of supply, a cleaner environment, cost-effectiveness and utilization of business potential in the field. Grants are awarded to energy technologies such as bioenergy, wind energy and geothermal energy.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- The Ministry's support for development research is organized in DANIDA and is implemented in collaboration with research organizations and think tanks. The aim is to build research capacity in developing countries and to create new knowledge that can help alleviate development problems in priority countries
Ministry of Children and Education
- The Ministry of Children and Education (only in danish) supports activities and new initiatives in the field of education through project grants in the areas of science, mathematics, entrepreneurship, promotion of IT, climate, healthy lifestyle and exercise
Ministry of Culture
- Research is supported through the Ministry of Culture's Research Pool (KFU) (only in danish). KFU supports sports research with an annual application deadline at the beginning of the year.
National Board of Social Services
- Administers a number of application pools. The pools are very application-oriented, but sometimes the participation of researchers is requested. Stay informed about open pools on the agency's website (only in danish).
